RESET FOR TEAMS & SCHOOLS

Pressure isn't necessarily the problem. How people respond to it is.

RESET brings the Lean In / Lean Out Method to workplaces and schools. People learn practical ways to regulate under pressure, communicate clearly and choose their next move with intention.

RESET FOR ORGANISATIONS

Calm under pressure. Clearer conversations. Sustainable performance.

RESET for Organisations helps leaders and teams notice how pressure is shaping their state, and gives them simple tools to step back when they need perspective and step forward when it's time to act.

Regulate under pressure

Recognise stress sooner and steady yourself before you react.

Communicate clearly

Have the harder conversations from a calmer, clearer place.

Decide better

Know when to pause for perspective and when to commit to action.

Perform with intention

Sustain performance without the cycle of pushing until you crash.

"Last year's session was powerful, but adding this concept to our strategy took it to another level. 'Leaning In and Leaning Out' is now common language in our company, and helps our leaders empower their people. The shift in self-awareness is huge and incredibly helpful."

Peter McKendry, Chief Executive Officer, The CO-GROUP
RESET FOR SCHOOLS

Practical tools staff and students can actually use.

RESET for Schools provides grounded wellbeing and performance tools that work in real classrooms. It's something people can use on a busy Tuesday, not another abstract program.

FOR STAFF

Steady under the load

Tools to notice rising pressure, create space in a full day and respond to students and colleagues with more clarity.

FOR STUDENTS

Notice, settle, refocus

Simple ways to understand what they're feeling, settle their state and choose what to do next, in class, sport and exams.

IN PRACTICE

A 14-year-old, regulated in 90 seconds

"Liam" arrived after a rough morning at school: shoulders up, shallow breath, heart racing. We worked through the method together. Within 90 seconds of breathing, his face relaxed and he said, "I feel lighter." In the weeks after, his teachers noticed he wasn't exploding or shutting down as fast.

  1. Awareness. "Where do you feel this in your body?"
  2. Acceptance. Let the feeling be there without fixing it.
  3. Regulate. Triangle breathing: in for 3, out for 3, hold for 3.
  4. Lean In or Lean Out. Talk about it now, or move first? He moved, then talked.

"If you want to better understand yourself, regulate your nervous system, and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and intention, Reset is a book you'll return to again and again."

Craig Snudden, Principal

"My son has struggled with anxiety for years. Learning about 'Leaning In and Leaning Out' gave him tools to manage stress, make clear decisions, and feel more in control."

Karrie, Parent

How we can work together.

I TEACH THIS BECAUSE I'VE LIVED IT

Why Chris

In 2019 I collapsed during a charity run. What followed changed the way I understood pressure, stress and the way I was living. Learning to understand my stress, regulate my state and work differently with pressure changed the direction of my life. Today I bring more than 15 years in health, wellbeing and human performance to helping others find practical tools that work in their actual lives.
